Faizan Jamil is a Product Manager at MachineQ, where he plays a key role in developing and managing IoT sensors and emerging IoT solutions. He focuses on addressing client business challenges by leveraging a variety of IoT devices and solutions, either developed in-house or through partnerships.
Faizan is responsible for identifying gaps in the market and conceptualizing solutions that meet client needs when existing options are unavailable, defining the “what”. He collaborates closely with MachineQ’s engineering team to determine the technical implementation, the “how,” ensuring that the solutions are both technically viable and aligned with customer’s expectations. Additionally, he explores emerging use cases leveraging new technologies related to IoT and Edge Computing and conducts market research on various IoT-related topics.
Prior to joining MachineQ, Faizan worked as a Systems Test Engineer in the IoT / telematics field on hardware, firmware, and software testing of low-power IoT devices and gateways for the rail industry.
Faizan is currently completing his MBA from the University of Pittsburgh, concentrating in Marketing and Technology Management. A Delaware native, he received his undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Delaware.
Outside of work, Faizan enjoys playing and watching sports—basketball, football, soccer, and Formula 1—being a foodie, and attending music festivals and events.
